We have new products in development that we will announce soon.
2007
Our application frameworks are gaining serious momentum, and we are incorporated enterprise-level email, backups, security, and applications into a single sign-on interface for our customers. This new foundation application is now complete (Team-Logic), and we have traction with new vertical markets, such as municipalities and larger corporations. Hosted Exchange email has also been added to our services. Blog hosting has been added to our services. We expanded our design and programming teams, and renovated our offices with new computers, furniture, and environment. We are preparing for the next releases of our foundation applications, including eCommerce, CMS, CRM, and more.
2005-2006
eCommerce continues to be a central platform to our hosted websites. With the sudden drop in the real estate market, there was enough demand from the real estate industry to warrant an upgrade of our real estate platform. We brought some world-class web professionals onboard to help us take our applications to the next level.
2001-2005
Delaware.Net took on some aggressive initiatives to build our own web-based internet applications. We were already becoming the largest web development company in our area, and we could see that the web was becoming a computing platform. Having our own eCommerce platform proved to be very profitable, and this platform continues to evolve today. We also built a basic content management system for the real estate industry, which would evolve into a more advanced real estate platform later.
1999-2000
It was obvious to us that the future of the Internet was a broadband future. This was to be a good thing for us, because once businesses adopted broadband, they would need the applications and services that broadband could deliver. It was at this time that we decided to focus on strictly business clients, and stop marketing to residential customers entirely. We began retooling the company to offer a wide range of business related technology services.
1997-1998 - The Beginning
Delaware.Net began as an Internet Service Provider (ISP) known at that time as "EZ Online, Inc.". Our original domain name was EZOL.com. The servers that ran the company back then could fit in the trunk of a car. Today, our server room houses many servers, and is climate-controlled with power generator backup and fiber optic connections. Initially, we were a company that focused on Internet connectivity, and we connected many thousands of residential and business customers to the Internet. Even with our regional name, Delaware.Net is now known in across North America as a reliable company for website development, application development, website hosting, and server collocation. We have become the "Internet experts" for a variety of specialized industries because of our reputation for quality and reasonable rates.
